This Protective Bagua is used to deflect interference energy away from the house.
The ‘official Bagua’ is an octagon shape. Its use was similar to a compass in centuries past, containing information about earth, man and the heavens. This is very auspicious tool that was carried from town to town offering guidance and protection.
For outside protection, use this particular wooden Bagua with a convex mirror. When hung from a doorway or window, it will deflect any negative energy with the mirror and provide balance within the bagua wheel.
When setting up this protection, placement of this bagua NEEDS to be outside and facing to the outside in the direction of the issue. The bagua is not meant to sent negativity or harmful thought to others, it’s meant to deflect not-so-positive energy from entering the home and your private space.
Your ‘issue’ could be deflecting noise from a construction site, Wi-FI disturbances, B &B Rentals or noisy neighbours. If you don’t wish this item to be visible outside and cause attention, you may camouflage this bagua and still reap the benefits. TIP: Placing the bagua INSIDE the window facing out will work too! It’s also effective to mask this behind a bush outside or on a fence post.
Another way to ‘hide’ the bagua on your front porch is to tuck it into a clay plant pot facing the disturbance. No one will know.
For most interior concerns, a bagua map (or grid) is used in BTB feng shui consultations.
