Crack a Smile and Make Your Day!
Some days, like today as I write this, it is really difficult to crawl out of bed.
The snowdrops are poking their heads up from the ground but the sunny mornings are still so far away.
In these dark and gloomy months we need to take care of ourselves. Being in charge is important in feng shui; so make something happen.
I like to share a few things that could make you smile today.
- Have lunch with someone who makes you laugh.
- Buy flowers at the grocery store.
- Just run; through a pile of leaves or down the beach.
- Draw a heart or a smiley face on the page with your grocery list.
- Place a vacation photo at your desk that is certain to make you grin.
- Toss stale toast onto the sidewalk and see which bird or animal shows up for breakfast.
- Out of milk again? Substitute a tablespoon of your favourite ice cream.
- Put on your sunshine underwear. (If you have to ask, you don’t have a pair.)
- Smell the first cherry blossom of the season.
- Pet the cat. Or a dog. Either one, they always smile back!
Some of these are outrageous and others just make me smile inside.
