Feng Shui Energy Tips for Travel

Travelling can be FUN, and yet, being emersed in hundreds/thousands of people at one time can zap your energy. You can easily contact negative vibes called Disturbing Effects from Others! Be aware that you can carry this negative energy home with you! Yikes!
ALLOW me to explain.

Disturbing Effects from Others (DEO’s) include any negative or disturbing energy that interferes with your mood, energy or your regular daily routine; it can come from anywhere. These DEO’s can knock you off your game, and travel is guaranteed to exhaust you on every angle!
You’ll know this when something inside changes; you’ll feel grumpy, tired and unable to make decisions!

Hers’s are some examples:
-loud music or noises

-odd smells

– getting bumped or brushed by others

– eating different foods on-the-go

– feeling lost or disappointed

– unexpected delays

– a buzz in a crowd that seems like you missed something; confusing

– restrictions with your agenda

– negative news feeds or local politics

Just recently, I traveled to Oklahoma City from my home in Canada, to visit my son. I took two airplane flights to OKC and 2 planes back. Yes, if you do the math, that is the equivalent of bumping/engaging/sharing space with MANY germs and DEO’s…which has prompted me to review this.

You can have the BEST intention and make the BEST preparations for your trip, and still, DEO’s can make things difficult. It’s the way things are these days.

What to do about this? Am I being too sensitive? Read more about Feng Shui energy tips!

First of all, whenever you get where-you-are-going, you’ll probably smell like the inside of an airplane. Change your clothes asap and put them all in a laundry bag; do not fold them in a suitcase to mingle with clean clothes.
Wash or shower. At the very least, wash your face and run wet hands through your hair.

If the hotel room air seems dead, stuffy and stifling, you are probably correct! (most hotel rooms have a lack of energetic, positive energy)
So, start clapping your hands! Yes! Clap all over the room: every corner, under the desk and in the bathroom. This action/exercise bounces energy vibrations off-the-walls, just like a mini clearing in your home.
And then, you’ll need to release this stale energy by bring in an energy-exchange; play some music if you like and open a window to let fresh air inside.

In my case, I booked a garden suite on the ground floor of a low-rise hotel.
Upon arrival, I caught a whiff of a mild cleaning product mixed with stale air.
Wow, I thought; If I’m going to stay here for 4 days… this could be a problem.

I clapped away much of the stuck air; up and down and all around.  And then, I couldn’t open the window as it was stuck too!
Yes, I changed my clothes. I washed any smell out of my hair (planning a shower later)

Luckily, my son arrived and helped slide the stuck window by a few inches; that’s all we needed to clear the room. I could sleep soundly having cleared the stuck, stifled air out of the room.
The result: I felt Safe, Grounded and Rested in my space!

Over the next few days, any sounds, smells and energy I brought into the room were controlled and monitored by ME!
Feng Shui Energy tips work wonders to stay in charge while away from home.

You don’t need any special tools to bring on your travels; just bring your intuition to stay on top of these DEO’S.
