Ask Kathryn about the Three Secrets
Q: I’ve heard there is specific language to use in the blessings of Feng Shui cures. I’ve heard of the 3 secrets. Is that like a prayer or a spell of sorts? Do I need to learn this to feng shui my apartment? I really need to find a better job.

A: Hi Shelly! This is a GREAT question. There is nothing weird, nor anything secret; it is just an expression for reinforcing a need or want. This term, translated from way back, refers to ideology from many types of wishing, praying and religious teachings.
Anytime we ‘wish’ for something, (including the motivation to rearrange your space for a new job and prosperity), we take on deep, personal expression to try to make things happen. Hand gestures (prayers), intense intention for something to happen (mind) and verbal clarity -to initiate an event.
You already know these Three Secrets.The Three Secrets are just as above: mind, speech and hand positions to reinforce the intention. It is perfectly acceptable to make feng shui changes in your home and recite your own version of prayers to reinforce the change required.
~ A Feng Shui Master, Prof. Lin Yun, says that initiating a feng shui cure without the Three Secret Reinforcements is like turning a three-way light bulb on once. You get 20% of the capability. However, if you do the Three Secret Reinforcements, you turn the lamp high and get 100% capability. By adding the power of prayer, all your aspirations will be dynamically energized, and you will enjoy great, good fortune.
