SAVING Stuff is BEING STUCK!

Wow! Half the year has past in a blink; time is moving quickly!

So, how are YOU?
Is everything okay?
Have you accomplished what you set out to do this year?

Have you learned something new about life that will help you carry on?

If you are like many people I talk to, there’s still some cloud in the background keeping us stuck. Could be guilt. Could be fear. Could be something from childhood that you cannot shake.

If you are stuck inside this summer because of the heat, go on down to your basement and go through the boxes stored down there. There are strong ties between our ‘stuff’ and our fulfillment in life!
You’ll see and feel, that life can be better.

Clearing stuff can be VERY Satisfying!
There’s no dead-line.
Just take one box at a time!

  • You may find memorabilia items. Perhaps you’d like to hang some of them up, offer to friends or other family members to enjoy; rather than store everything in a box.
  • Another antique lamp? Sell this item to someone who really appreciates these things.
  • Old books and collections? Before these begin to smell or disintegrate, get them out of the basement and into a less-humid, controlled environment. Save, sell, gift. Shrink your collections to a manageable size. Please deal with these soon.
  • Artwork, pictures and photographs. Again, the clock for freshness is ticking. Is this the year to deal with them? Select the ones you want, and set aside items that make sense to you. You can rotate your collections and enjoy them all if you like. Yet, be sure to store each one respectfully.
  • Saving ‘things’ for when the kids move out? I have news for you- they don’t want your stuff!! They need to choose their own stuff.
Donate to a Re-Store or Good Will, and then, you’ll be able to use all this extra space for the THINGS YOU WANT!

YES! It can be done!
